VerseD: 1 Peter 4:16

Yet if anyone suffers as a Christian, let him not be ashamed, but let him glorify God in that name.
1 Peter 4:16, ESV

If we truly are persecuted for our faith and the Gospel, we are counted as worthy to suffer as our Lord.

Remember, they are persecuting Jesus. We are merely His ambassadors.
