VerseD: Matthew 28:19

Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit

If we are saved,, we must each believe that the Jesus revealed in Scripture is the Son of God – fully God and fully human – who came and showed His love by dying for our sin. Then, we tell others by the power of God in us – the Holy Spirit.

VerseD: Matthew 6:33

But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.

Do not seek gifts and blessings. Seek God.

Most of us like giving gifts. What greater gift can we get than Jesus, the Son of God, by the power of the Holy Spirit?
Turn to God today.

VerseD: Galatians 1:10

For am I now seeking the approval of man, or of God? Or am I trying to please man? If I were still trying to please man, I would not be a servant of Christ.
Galatians 1:10, ESV

It is not enough to be a people-pleaser or to want to be liked by everyone (both are impossible to achieve with everyone).
We serve and aim to please only One: our Lord Jesus Christ to the glory of the Father with the help of the Holy Spirit.

VerseD: Matthew 4:4

But he answered, “It is written, “‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.’”

Our bread is more than something to eat. We are sustained by God’s written Word and The Word, Jesus Christ.
Daily reading of Scripture encourages our souls. Seeking Jesus by the help of the Holy Spirit gives us assurance and strength.
