VerseD: Acts 4:12

“And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”
Acts 4:12, ESV

It cannot be said enough:
Jesus Christ is our only hope, for this life and to attain eternal life by freedom from our sin of rebellion against God.

VerseD: Romans 8:1

There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.
Romans 8:1, ESV

We will continue to sin until we leave this life, but Christ’s atoning sacrifice cleanses us of all sin – past, present, and future – when we put our faith in His sacrificial work.

VerseD: 1 Peter 1:3

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead
1 Peter 1:3, ESV

Our only hope is found in that the Father sent His Son to be the sacrifice for our sins, and the Holy Spirit guides us to this truth.

VerseD: Isaiah 53:6

All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned—every one—to his own way; and the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all.
Isaiah 53:6, ESV

None of us is guiltless against God.
Yet He placed all our guilt on Jesus and gave us the gift of grace.

VerseD: Isaiah 25:8

He will swallow up death forever; and the Lord God will wipe away tears from all faces, and the reproach of his people he will take away from all the earth, for the Lord has spoken.
Isaiah 25:8, ESV

Christ defeated death and sin at the Passover weekend 2000 years ago.
We are merely in the small closing battles until His triumphant return!

VerseD: Philippians 2:8

And being found in human form, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross.
Philippians 2:8, ESV

God put Himself through torture and death to free us from sin and wrath.
Are we willing to empty ourselves and humbly obey God?
Can I love my neighbor with Christ’s sacrificial love?

VerseD: John 6:35

Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me shall not hunger, and whoever believes in me shall never thirst.”
John 6:35, ESV

Firstly, we are blessed when we hunger and thirst for righteousness, for we will be satisfied. (Matthew 5:6)
Secondly, all our appetites shall be satisfied in the Lord, most especially in eternal life.

VerseD: Psalm 126:5

Those who sow in tears shall reap with shouts of joy!
Psalm 126:5, ESV

Before the cross, we lament our sin.
After the cross, we worship our God for His grace and love.

VerseD: Romans 1:16

For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.
Romans 1:16, ESV

God’s power was manifest is raising our Savior to life. His power is manifested in every believer who is washed clean of their sins.

VerseD: Psalm 51:1-2

Have mercy on me, O God, according to your steadfast love; according to your abundant mercy blot out my transgressions. Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin!
Psalm 51:1‭-‬2, ESV

When we humble ourselves, look inside and realize how sinful we are, we see the need for a Savior.
Thanks be to God He is our Savior, through the work of Jesus on the cross!
