In this life of darkness and fear, we can be comforted by believing in the Light of the world who has overcome the darkness.
Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.

Christ has given us His Holy Spirit to comfort us and help us, and He gave us His Body, the Church, to support us and share all things, whether material, emotional, or spiritual.
Those who sow in tears shall reap with shouts of joy!

Understanding, compassion, and empathy usually work better than accusation, blame, blunt indifference, and even simple advice.
Truth is necessary, as is remembering to honor the emotional state and image of God in the other person.
It is not about being right but loving in truth.

Firstly, we are comforted knowing we are saved through Christ, so we can offer the comfort to others that they too can be saved.
Knowing this, we can offer comfort, even suffering ourselves, knowing the great rest to come.
Perspective changes everything.

In Christ alone are we saved ,and we rely on Him moment by moment and day by day yo sustain us and give us hope.

Our God leads us, comforts us, and provides for us in more ways than we understand. He gives a peace we cannot fathom. He gives rest to our weary souls.
For I, the Lord your God, hold your right hand; it is I who say to you, “Fear not, I am the one who helps you.”

God is nearest the lowly, it is said. Yet, God is omnipresent – everywhere. We are more aware of Him when at our lowest.
That is when we get ourselves out of the way and listen to the One comforting us and guiding us in truth.
