Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.
Matthew 11:28-29, ESV
Our own work and worries can feel burdensome, but doing the work of Christ’s Kingdom may be hard work but it is eternally rewarding and leads to spiritual rest.
Amen. I know it makes me emotional thinking of how He helps us, especially as we join in His work.
Classes just started at GCU, and I already have students asking hard questions and seeking truth. It makes the 90-minute drive (each way) worth it.
Do we truly love the Lord our God with all our hearts, souls, minds, and strengths? Maybe I can help with the mind part, at least! This is Daniel M. Klem, apparent poet, reluctant yet passionate Disciple (Peter?), and foolish man attempting to understand theology!
May God use this post
