Why would we avoid intimacy with our Creator? The more time we spend privately praying, the more we are aware of God at work in us and our world, the more we desire to share the Son with the world, the more joy and contentment we have.
It baffles me that there are people who say they are Christiams but “hate” or do not like praying, even in private. (But I understand shyness and not understanding.)
Do we truly love the Lord our God with all our hearts, souls, minds, and strengths? Maybe I can help with the mind part, at least! This is Daniel M. Klem, apparent poet, reluctant yet passionate Disciple (Peter?), and foolish man attempting to understand theology!
