Revelation 2:1-7

“Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love.” Revelation 2:4

Today, we are closing up our discussion on what losing the first love means. It’s been fun, and I really appreciate all the good comments and thoughts. I’d like to start this one off by including three Scripture for reading.

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” John 3:16

 “If ye love me, keep my commandments.” John 14:15

VerseD: Jude 1:20-21

But you, beloved, building yourselves up in your most holy faith and praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in the love of God, waiting for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ that leads to eternal life.
Jude 1:20‭-‬21, ESV

We were saved at the cross. Yet, we await the full salvation of our bodies and minds at Christ’s return. That mercy – the removal of all taint of sin from Creation – demonstrated in His love, will be like waking from a dream, even a nightmare, into glorious life.
