I have stored up your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you.

Why is reading and meditating on (thinking about) Scripture important?

We memorize it, and it guides us out of temptation and away from sin. (See Jesus in Matthew and Luke chapters 4.)

    I used to memorize scripture, but I rarely do anymore. That’s a problem on my part.

      It has always been a struggle for me. My youth boys were a conviction to me recently, because they are memorizing some for school AND just because.
      I said I would join them to help them … but also to help me be better at it!
