Speaking through another …

Today marks the first time I have written a guest post for another blogger!

Heather is out on a short-term mission trip to Costa Rica this week (pray for her, her team, and the Costa Ricans!), and I am one of the people helping her out while she is gone. I know some who read my blog do not care for a few of their beliefs, but Heather is a member of the Independent Fundamentalist Baptist Church which is famous/infamous (depending on your view) of being Kings-James-Version-Only-ists. In other words, they believe only the King James Version of the Bible is the only viable and authorized version. Regardless of this, Heather is one of the most amazing young Christian women I have ever had the privilege of befriending (albeit, only online).

Not only should you go check out my guest post, but seriously consider reading more of her work. As I said, she is pretty amazing.

God bless! Catch ya later, Bill and Ted… I mean, everyone!

  1. Heather is one one of my best friends, and I can agree saying she is pretty great. She is an encouragement to me as a Christian. She may be 10 years younger than me, but in many ways, I feel like she is wiser than me. She was saved around the same time I repented (was backsliden 13.5 years). It is a blessing to have godly friends (I am so blessed with all my friends).

I enjoyed your blog on growup!

  2. She certainly is wise, and I have met very few her age with such a sensitivity to God and desire to grow in Him. I am glad we have discovered each other, even if it is only online at this time!

I was fortunate that my backsliding only lasted a few years and with small breaks in that here and there. Through it all, I learned more of what Paul came to understand through God: “My grace is sufficient” (2 Cor. 12:9).

    Thanks for stopping by!

wow, wow, wow. Thank you for the kind words in both this post and the comments under it. You two are an encouragement to me as well, and I’m very thankful that God has allowed us to be friends. :]

    • It is just because of an Amazing God working through His Creation, so you will just have to deal with being amazing for His glory!
