What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?

God has redeemed our lives, therefore no one should be able to intimidate or threaten us with fear of persecution or death. We know they will get what they deserve or join us in eternity with Christ.
“You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you”
Matthew 5:43-44, ESV
We know we have God’s love when we can love like Him, when we can love those who insult and threaten us, even those who have harmed us.
