This Sunday at Church: Pray for Our Church’s Midweek Upcoming Apologetics’ Series

Jimmy’s church is starting Apologetics this week. I am in a Youth Apologetics conference (TruthQuestPrecott.org) early next month before beginning a Christianity 101 class for my church that same weekend. I definitely feel this and also seek prayer for the youth and families.

This Sunday at Church: Talk to someone about what is Biblical Marriage

I do this with my youth group each year, and it has been true this past month since the day of solidarity with the Canadian church and others in light of Conversion Therapy bans that are worded in such a way as to make teaching the Bible illegal.

It is important to remind each other often of God’s sexual ethics.

This is a regular thing inour church. After nearly three years, we finally installed our first deacon. Not from a lack of trying, just finding the right people at the right time.

The saying is trustworthy: If anyone aspires to the office of overseer, he desires a noble task.

This Sunday at Church: Pray for your church’s Deacons

We finally started adding deacons (after 2 years of intentionally trying), so it requires a LOT of prayer! We have had a few turn us down, a few become disqualified, and a few still under review. It is not easy, and it has made our team of elders understand how hundreds of believers in Acts 4 would produce only 7 to help with feeding everyone.
