Personally, I have been in 8 churches, and 5 of the lead pastors were bi-vocational. Most associate pastors I have known have been bo-vocational (including myself.) Thankfully, our current pastor is full-time, but all pastors need a lot of prayer.

Obey your leaders and submit to them, for they keep watch over your souls as those who will give an account, so that they can do this with joy and not with grief, for that would be unprofitable for you. Pray for us; for we are convinced that we have a clear conscience, wanting to conduct ourselves honorably in everything. Hebrews 13:17-18, HCSB
For this Sunday here’s what you can do: Pray for your pastor if he is bi-vocational.
I was a part of the bus ministry with my first c9ngregation, as a teenager. In my early 20s, I helped form something similar for the party crowd. In our current congregation, we don’t have a bus, but we have a small unofficial team of volunteers who help a few people with getting to and from services. And it can be work. Let us pray for peace, pati3nce, and compassion foe all involved, including those getting a ride.

This Sunday at Church: Encourage those who are involved with bus ministry.
We were blessed this past Christmas to help a few families with gifts, food, and even an apartment with 2 months rent for one single mom and her son. There always needs, and the beginning of the year can be terrifying for some families. Let us pray and find ways to help these physically and financially (James 1:27, 2:15-17).

This Sunday at Church I want to encourage you to do the following: Helping someone with financial need.

Apparently this week I hit a milestone: I have refuted three hundred fifty alleged Bible Contradiction! Below is the listing of these […]
Do we truly love the Lord our God with all our hearts, souls, minds, and strengths? Maybe I can help with the mind part, at least! This is Daniel M. Klem, apparent poet, reluctant yet passionate Disciple (Peter?), and foolish man attempting to understand theology!
