We had baptisms at a local lake today (I got to baptize one of my youth! And we had a Jewish believer!) I had prayed for the spiritual attack that often comes, specifically praying that he would lift them up as on eagle’s wings and strengthen and encourage them.
An eagle flew over the lake during the baptisms.
I take that as a good sign. 😉
(We also had a hot dog bar for a lunch fundraiser for youth camp. It was also good.)
Do we truly love the Lord our God with all our hearts, souls, minds, and strengths? Maybe I can help with the mind part, at least! This is Daniel M. Klem, apparent poet, reluctant yet passionate Disciple (Peter?), and foolish man attempting to understand theology!
