2020 is rough all around. “Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray.” (James 5:13)
Typhoons (hurricanes) are serious enough without adding pandemic restrictions. Let us pray that any suffering can lead to repentance and deep faith in Christ, as well as for strength and quick recovery. Even for miraculous moments of salvation from danger and healing in Jesus’ name!
[Jesus] whom God put forward as a propitiation by his blood, to be received by faith. This was to show God’s righteousness, because in his divine forbearance he had passed over former sins. Romans 3:25, ESV
God’s mercy and grace are shown through not killing us immediately for our sins but coming Himself to take our punishment on Himself to save us who believe from His wrath.
Do we truly love the Lord our God with all our hearts, souls, minds, and strengths? Maybe I can help with the mind part, at least! This is Daniel M. Klem, apparent poet, reluctant yet passionate Disciple (Peter?), and foolish man attempting to understand theology!
