Because of our sin, we all deserve to die and face punishment. But God, in His loving mercy and grace, has saved us from our sin and given us the hope of eternal life through Jesus.
We watched a video discussing purple who have “gone to hell,” and all I could think was “You clearly have no idea what the real Hell is like or just how bad our sin is, especially compared to His grace.” I felt physically ill thinking these people and those who listen to them may still be headed the wrong way!
Do we truly love the Lord our God with all our hearts, souls, minds, and strengths? Maybe I can help with the mind part, at least! This is Daniel M. Klem, apparent poet, reluctant yet passionate Disciple (Peter?), and foolish man attempting to understand theology!
