VerseD: Jeremiah 17:7

“Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, whose trust is the Lord.
Jeremiah 17:7, ESV

Trusting the Lord brings the blessings of forgiveness, grace, a changed heart and mind, inner peace, and eternal life in Christ.

  1. Thanks for this; I need to trust in the Lord to use my preaching and teaching to minister to people in my local church with their problems

    • Yesterday, one of my former youth kids (he’s now 24) got married, and his dad officiated the wedding. It was beautiful, and dad did a great job, preaching the gospel and sharing God’s love and humor. His 20-year-old brother could not be there, because he is in the Marine Corps and going through special training.
But their parents had to tell us that those boys are still Chrisitians today and talk about how much we spoke Christ’s light and life into them. Even the parents had to thank us for what we spoke into their own lives.
It was encouraging to hear, seeing as their home church dissolved last year, and everyone is still looking for a faithful church. But it convicted me hard, knowing we were used by God to make such an impact on this family.

      • Man that is encouraging; more so as someone who loves the church, the youth and was a former Marine
